Junior Kindergarten Overview

Junior Kindergarten is the foundation of our Kindergarten program as children begin their journey through Christian-based education.

Junior Kindergarten covers many subjects and skills and focuses on Language Arts, Reading: Phonics & Blends, Recognizing & Sounding Out, Cursive Writing; Mathematics, Number Skills – Recognizing numbers, Counting 1-100 and Addition & Patterns.

Our learning focus also includes an emphasis on exploration, creativity and play, developing strong social skills and emotional regulation through deep connections made between the family, faith and school community.

Junior Kindergarten Daily Schedule

Our Junior Kindergarten Program consists of an academic curriculum that promotes learning at a young age. In the morning, we devote time to core subject areas and integrate fun activities to learning in the afternoon. Our JK curriculum is well rounded to enable our younger learners to reach their maximum potential.
